Background

Penn Plastics began in 1977 when Ray Pennoyer Jr., former engineer for Texas Instruments and Western Electric, purchased Duraplastics. Since then, Penn has undergone dramatic expansion in response to the needs of its customers, including the addition of complete in-house tooling operations and the near tripling of its square footage. Recently Penn was recognized by the Bridgeport Regional Business Council for its growing importance to the region.
