What is a "Living Hinge"?
These handsome and economical cases are manufactured using the polymer polypropylene. "Living Hinge" (sometimes called "integral hinge") takes advantage of the special characteristics of this polymer. A flexible hinge of plastic is molded as one piece with the rest of the case, connecting the sturdy top and bottom sections. The result is a hinge with excellent flexibility and superb flex life.

All cases are designed for positive closure against the elements. The S24, S16, S10 and TC cases can be further equipped with an optional weather-resistant gasket, and feature a molded-in ring to accommodate a tamper-evident seal. All models with handles are wall-mountable. Cases can be manufactured in white, clear or custom colors.
Special Features of the R36-G / R36 Model with Interlocking Hinge
This quality case is precision molded with high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) for excellent impact toughness and durability. It features reinforced hinges held together by sturdy stainless steel pins for quiet and dependable performance. The case is equipped with two positive-lock clasps and an optional cover gasket to enhance weather resistance. The unit is wall-mountable and includes a molded-in-ring suitable for a tamp-evident seal.
