Penn Plastics is a full-service, family owned custom injection molder and manufacturer, currently serving clients in a broad range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, consumer, industrial and medical. These clients can be found across the United States,  Canada, and elsewhere.

 

Background

 

Penn Plastics began in 1977 when Ray Pennoyer Jr., former engineer for Texas Instruments and Western Electric, purchased Duraplastics (with its subdivision Garden Specialties). Since then, Penn Plastics has undergone dramatic expansion in response to the needs of its customers, including the addition of complete in-house tooling operations (mold making) and the near tripling of its square footage. Recently Penn Plastics was recognized by the Bridgeport Regional Business Council for its growing importance to the region.
